Rauland campus library
The Rauland Campus Library is situated in Vinje municipality, which is know for its beautiful nature and rich traditions within folk art and folk music, right between Oslo and Bergen.
Knowledge and guidance
The library is open for everyone, including persons who is not students at USN or any other university or university college. You are welcome to borrow from our collection using a national library card.
You will find books, journals, reference books, DVDs, CDs and master’s theses in the library. You need to contact the library if you want to read or borrow student papers/bachelor’s theses. You can also find a shelf with one-day loan copies of the course literature.
The library has a listening area, and you can find the quiet reading room right next to the library.
Please visit the library if you have any questions. If you need more guidance (literature search, how to use our databases or EndNote), please make an appointment with the librarian. This service is only available for students and employees at USN.
Classroom teaching is held by appointment with the teacher.
"More open" library
Students and employees are welcome to use the library outside the manned opening hours. You can borrow books on the self-service machine using your student card/employee card. You can also view your loans on the machine, as well as renew them yourself.
Students and employees are welcome to make suggestions for materials that you want the library to purchase. You can make suggestions at the library counter, or e-mail them to email@example.com.
