What is a data management plan (DMP)?
- A data management plan is a plan for how research data relating to a given research project is to be handled, both along the way and after the project. It often contains a description of the types of research data the project is operating with. Ideally, such a plan should be made in advance and say something about how you intend to take care of the research data generated during the various phases of the project.
- HSN has no own requirements for the creation of a DMP, but external sources of financing often have such requirements. This applies, for example, to the EU Horizon 2020 program and the European Research Council
