This course will teach you a systematic way to search for, evaluate, and use existing literature, and show you how you can effectively organize relevant publications and keep yourself updated in your field of study. These are valuable skills which you can use when you are describing the current state and knowledge in your field when preparing your dissertation or articles. This course will also familiarize you with research data and how to prepare a data management plan, and will give you valuable insights into publishing strategies, increasing your visiblity as a researcher, and sharing your research with different audiences.
This course is aimed at PhD and Assistant Professor candidates from all fields of study. The course provides generic research skills, and is an opportunity to meet researchers from a wide range of backgrounds. In this way the participants can become familiar with different methods and approaches to research, which can provide an added value to one’s own research process. The course is in english.
