Repatriation

We may ship loaned items to your home or to the nearest public library (policies vary between the USN libraries). Please make an arrangement with your local public library if you want to pick up books there. If you would prefer that the USN library makes such an arrangement, please let us know so that we can organize it. We send books within the Nordic countries only.

Books available at a USN library will normally be received by you within 7 days after your request. Books on interlibrary loan from other libraries may take longer. Copies of journal articles that we do not have online access to, may be requested and sent to your home address. Library loans and the shipping of books and journal article copies are free. Article copies are not to be returned to the library. You are responsible for the return of loaned items, either by mail or by attending the nearest public library and ask them to ship the items for you. A book is on loan to you until it has arrived at the USN library.
