- Home delivery: We can send books to your home if you live more than 30 kilometers away from a campus library. Note! When ordering loans or articles in the library catalog Oria for home delivery, select Hønefoss as the pickup location and specify in the comments field that you want home delivery! Books from USN are usually delivered within about seven days after being ordered. Borrowed books and article copies from other libraries may take longer. Some copies will be sent to you quickly via email (this varies depending on the provider). Borrowing and any home delivery are free of charge for you.
- Pickup at campus: If you live less than 30 kilometers from a USN campus, we ask that you pick up the items yourself. Indicate which campus you would like to pick up books and article copies from in the comments field.
Returning library items
Article copies do not need to be returned. Books can be returned in the box at Campus Hallingdal or at one of the other USN campuses. You can also send them by regular mail or ask your nearest library to return them for you free of charge. Please keep in mind that the book is registered as borrowed by you until it has been returned to the university library. See the loan policies for terms and loan periods.
