What is Shut up & Write?
Are you working on an assignment, but find it difficult to set aside time to write? Do you find it lonely studying on your own? Shut up & Write is not a course - but dedicated time for writing or reading where everyone is welcome to join. On Shut up & Write, you work quietly for 45 minutes. Then there is a 15 minute break where you can socialize or ask questions about searching, writing and reference management. The breaks are at 14.45, 15.45 etc.
If you have questions that only requires a short guidance, you can join this room. We can help you with searching, referencing, EndNote, Zotero, writing etc. Max tutoring time is 15 min.
There is no demand that participants must be present the entire Write Night to be able to see lectures, join courses, or use Drop-in Guidance and Shut up & Write. You can join as much or as little as you wish!
