Renew loans?

Regular loan time is 3 weeks. The library offers 1-day loan of curriculum books. Loans will be automatically renewed for you, provided that the items have not been requested by others.

Students at USN will have their loans renewed for maximum 6 months, employees for maximum 1 year. 1-day loans can not be renewed. Items that have exceeded the maximum borrowing time limit must be physically returned before being borrowed again.

To access your list of borrowed items, sign in to your Oria account in the top right hand side corner. When logged in, click your name and then My account.

Return items?

  • Use the self-service machines or our return boxes.
  • If you can't visit your campus, you may also return loans at one of our other campus libraries.
  • Return items by mail or contact the nearest college-, university- or public library. These will usually assist in forwarding books you have borrowed from us.
    Please note! Loans are registered as returned only once the items have arrived at USN.
