This course will provide an introduction to how you should cite and reference your sources when writing a term paper or exam. We’ll talk about citing and paraphrasing different kinds of sources, and what information is needed when completing your reference list..

This course is a part of the Digital Writing Night March 24th, held by the USN Library. Check out the Digital Writing Night program!

After completing the course the you should:
•    have an understanding of the importance and necessity of correct referencing  
•    be able to refer to your sources in a correct and ethical way in a given reference style
•    be able to create reference lists in your own papers in a given reference style
•    know about the USN regulations regarding plagiarism

Note: This course will be held in English, and examples of citations are given in APA 7th edition.
