To create links that also work outside campus, you can not copy the link directly from the browser. If you want to create links that also work from home, there are essentially two ways to do this:
- Either search for the e-books or articles in Oria and use the links from there (From the search result - select "send to" and then find "permalink" to find the correct URL)
- Or paste this prefix in front of the URL of the resource you want to link to: https://ezproxy.usn.no/login?url=
Example:
If you want access to an ebook with this URL / link address:
http://search.ebscohost.com/login.aspx?direct=true&db=nlebk&AN=1466933&site=ehost-live
... then the full address including the prefix will be:
In practice, it may be easiest to use a notepad and cut and paste in order to put together a working link with prefix.
Please make sure there is no space between the prefix and the link address!
