Ringerike campus library

Knowledge and guidance
The library is open to everyone. Books, magazines, and databases are available to all visitors. Most books and magazines can be borrowed, except for a few that can only be used at the library. During the day, students and staff can receive professional guidance in the use of the library's services. In the evening, the library is staffed by student assistants.

Meeting place
The library is among the most visited places on campus. Here you meet other students, work on your studies, do group work or take a break with today’s newspapers, board games, or jigsaw puzzles. NB. Hot food is not allowed in the library.

“Dagslån” or “day loan books”
The library has a copy of the curriculum for “day loans”. These books can be borrowed but need to be returned the next working day.

Accessible and user-friendly
The library is designed so that users can easily find and borrow literature on their own. Loans/returns of books take place via the lending machine. The student/employee card (or student card app) is used as a library card. The premises are available to students and employees outside serviced opening hours (lock-in with student/employee card).

Workplaces at the library
The library has many different workplaces and individual workplaces. Here you can sit one by one or in groups. Please show consideration to others when studying at the library.

Request a librarian
The library answers all inquiries received at the library desk, by phone, email, or social media. The “Request a Librarian” service allows you to book an appointment with one of the librarians at the University College of Southeast Norway. Group lectures in literature search etc. can be arranged upon request. The service is for students and staff only.
