What is a data management plan?
- A data management plan is a plan for how research data pertaining to a given research project is to be handled, both along the way and after the project is completed. It often contains a description of the types of research data the project is operating with. Ideally, such a plan should be made in advance and say something about how you intend to take care of the research data generated during the various phases of the project.
